Congratulations are in order for our boys and girls Cross Country teams for a strong season finish and to Kiley Murphy for clinching the State Champion title!

The Cougars had a great day at the State Cross Country meet at Carrollton this past Saturday. The meet this year was bigger than ever, with the top 30 Single-A private schools in Georgia competing.

The boys team ran some of their strongest times all year and finished 14th overall, and Brookstone’s girls capped off their incredible season with a hard-fought 10th place team finish.

Individually, freshman Lizzi Cowley finished 11th out of 202 runners, and Kiley Murphy crushed the competition to become the State Champ! As an individual State Champion (Brookstone’s first in several years), Kiley will have her picture added to the wall of champions in the Cheves building.
