Open Sport Stacking Competition

The talents of Brookstone students run the gamut – even including the up and coming sport of cup-stacking! Congratulations to 3rd grader Jimmy Hunter, who won 2nd place in his individual age group events and a first place in his relay and doubles events at the recent Open Sport Stacking competition held at Girls Inc. here in Columbus. Alums come back to visit!

There are so many reasons we love our alumni here at Brookstone, but perhaps one of the biggest reasons of all is how they continually give back to our Brookstone family! Uma Alappan at the ASN

Congratulations to Uma Alappan, Brookstone junior, who was invited to present her science fair project at the annual conference for the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) in Chicago last month. What an incredible accomplishment!! Over 14,000 nephrologists, doctors who specialize in kidneys, were in attendance, but Uma was the only high school student invited to present her findings. No surprise, her project on the acidity and phosphorus levels in commonly consumed sodas, garnered much attention from top universities around the country and even internationally.
