Brookstone Stadium Name Revealed
Brookstone is excited to announce the naming of the new athletic stadium in honor of Brookstone alumnus and legendary Brookstone football player Mack Strong, Class of 1989. “Mack Strong exemplifies the core values that Brookstone School is committed to build in its students: loyalty, courage, wisdom, honor, service, respect, and leadership,” said Board Chair Billy Blanchard. “A common theme when people talk about Mack is his strength of character along with his athletic talents. Forest Fridays
We are so excited to announce the start of Forest Fridays here at Brookstone this fall! What is Forest Friday? Forest Friday is a weekly class for kindergarten through third grade. The class is about connecting with nature, outdoor learning, and instilling adventure and exploration in our students. Research shows that students get minimal outdoor time and are spending more time indoors in front of screens and various other technologies. Homecoming is not just for the kiddos! Our teachers love to get in on the fun as well! It was a crazy week around here with favorite holiday, crazy socks, crazy hair, Too-Tired Tuesday and Tourist Thursday! But the one thing we all agree on – a little bit of “crazy” added a little bit of “normalcy” and that made for a fun week all around! Happy Homecoming!
