Ask many of our alumni and they will tell you, the people, the community are what make Brookstone School such a special place. The coaches. The teachers. The students. There truly is such a thing as the Brookstone family. Taylor Hollingsworth, a member of the Class of 2011, speaks to that in her spotlight video featured below. After graduating from Brookstone, Taylor went on to join the Track team at the University of Georgia, where she was a double major in Nutrition Science and Spanish. A stellar athlete, she is […]
We take our love of art and our budding artists very seriously here at Brookstone School and we always have. We invite you to visit the student art show from last spring and then more recently the Mary Schley Holiday Art Show this past December, to read all about “International Dot Day” and to click here to see one of our Spring Arts Festivals in action. Our love of learning about art doesn’t stop even when we found ourselves in quarantine! Bottom line, we love art here at Brookstone School. […]
Brookstone School is so incredibly proud of the more than 3000 alumni we have worldwide. They are the leaders of their communities; they are difference makers; they are making our world a better place. We are so incredibly proud of who they are and what they do. It’s why we have a Distinguished Alumni Society, so that we can publicly honor and applaud the work they are doing and why we brag on them every chance we get! You can read more by clicking here and here! Along those lines, […]

Why Brookstone? Why should I choose to send my child to Brookstone? These are questions often asked of us in the admissions department and they are valid questions. Why? What sets up apart? What makes Brookstone so unique? So we got to work to find our answer. Our faculty, administration, and Board of Trustees began working and surveying and researching to determine just what is it that sets Brookstone apart. And over and over again, these are the things that rose to the top. Here at Brookstone, PEOPLE MATTER. We […]
This past week the Board of Trustees of Brookstone School announced the launch of the Blanchard Leadership Institute. The Blanchard Leadership Institute will not only deepen these commitments but will provide students, faculty, and staff a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, enabling them to […]
Wearing face masks has become a part of school life, it is important to know how to communicate effectively while wearing one. Alumna and current parent, Dr. Alice Cellino, Au.D., CCC-A, along with Dr. Susie Ford, Ph. D., CCC-S, of Columbus Speech and Hearing Center (CSHC), conducted training during pre-planning to provide our faculty with tools that enhance communication while wearing masks. At Brookstone, we care as much about our parents as we do our students and teachers. As such, CSHC created the video below just for parents that includes […]
One of the things that makes Brookstone so special is our alumni community. With more than 3000 alumni worldwide, being part of the Brookstone family is a tie that binds us all together. Congratulations to the Class of 2020! We are so proud of all you have accomplished!
Like everything else associated with graduation and the traditions involved, the Senior Mentor Breakfast, sponsored by our Brookstone Parents Association, looked different this year. However, even though we were unable to gather and celebrate with our seniors and their mentors, our scheduled speaker, Lt. Gen. William Caldwell, still wanted to share some thoughts with the seniors, one of whom is his nephew. You can click the video below to view his remarks. Dear Class of 2020, We are so proud of you and the things you’ve accomplished during your time […]
