Taking Class Outside
“This world is but a canvas to our imagination.” Henry David Thoreau
Sentiments like this are one of the reasons we love to get our students outside as much as we can. Having a beautiful campus and wonderful places to gather provides many opportunities for our students and teachers to enjoy being outdoors.
So as I walked to the cafeteria last week, I loved spotting Dr. Harkey’s Crime and Punishment class gathered around Courtney’s Pond and discussing Dante’s Inferno.
Sometimes, just the very thing you need to inspire good conversation is to take things outside. Grateful for a gorgeous campus that allows us to do so.
