Congratulations to sophomore Marianna Branch, who was recently named WLTZ Scholar Athlete of the Week!

Marianna is a talented multi-sport athlete who is a leader on any team she’s a part of  – and she’s only a sophomore. Not to mention she’s an academic powerhouse and one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. (Full disclosure, I am one of her biggest fans!)

Unfortunately, Marianna suffered a season ending injury a few weeks ago, but the fact that she was still awarded this honor speaks volumes about her character and leadership even when she is not able to play.
