Month of the Military Child 2022

April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the sacrifices made by military families worldwide with an emphasis on the experience of the dependent children of military members serving at home and overseas.

As part of our Month of the Military Child celebration, which included a special breakfast, Purple Up! Day, and more, students learned that the dandelion is the official flower of the military child. Do you know why? The dandelion can put down roots almost anywhere and thrive. They adapt easily and stand ready to fly into breezes that take them to new adventures, new lands, and new friends. This is so true of our many military students here at Brookstone!

To all of our military families, thank you for your service to our country and for your sacrifice. We are honored to celebrate you this month and always!
