Blue and White Day 2023 and Country Fair
Blue and White Day and Country Fair 2023 was nothing short of awesome!! Because after all, what is more fun than a school-wide competition followed by a school-wide celebration, which is exactly what these two events are! One School – Many Stories
For the past three years, Brookstone School has honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with Make your Mark week in 2019, Voices of Change week in 2021, and Leading with Love Week in 2022. This year’s theme will be One School: Many Stories as we celebrate the various cultural backgrounds of our Brookstone family, along with kindness, equality, and positive contributions to society. There was lots of activity here on campus today! We had 3K Doctor Day and a Vocab Parade! First up, 3K Doctor Day – where all of your ailments could be tended to. Need a Band-aid? A quick MRI? Our Preschool Library is Now Open!
Our Preschool library is up and running! The children have enjoyed this new location for story time with Mrs. Trotter, our Lower School Librarian, and selecting their first books to take back to their classrooms. The library is arranged like a classroom library with bins of books gathered in topical or thematic groups. Books are displayed in the bins with the front covers facing forward which supports young children in making choices.
