Volleyball, Cheer and the Jug – Oh My!
There’s been quite a lot to celebrate around here as of late!
This past weekend, our girls competition cheerleading team took first place at the Pam Carter Invitational! Way to go girls!
On the very same day, the girls varsity volleyball team clinched the area title, beating Pacelli in a 3-5 match! Awesome job, girls!!
And speaking of Pacelli, the varsity football team made sure that the Jug stayed with the Cougars for one more year! Brookstone soundly defeated Pacelli 37-7. We could not be prouder of our team and how they played! It capped off a week long celebration, which included a school-wide bonfire and some major school spirit!
You can read about the pre-game hype in the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer by clicking here and more about the game stats by clicking here!
And not only did we beat them in football, but we beat them in our love for Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A held a week long competition over who could eat more chicken (or place more orders!) the week before the game. And we WON! The winner won $1000 to be used for student philanthropy. Congrats to our students and families for making sure that prize came home with us, only to allow us to share with others! We do love Chick-Fil-A! You can watch the video by clicking here!
It’s been an awesome few weeks and Homecoming starts today!

Go Cougars!!
