Congratulations, Drew Webb, Class of 2016, and current Columbus State University student on being named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week!

In two conference games at UNC Pembroke over the weekend, Webb went a combined 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBIs.  Paying in right field, he opened with a 2-for-3 outing, driving in a run and walking twice in a 12-2 win.  In game two he hit the game-winning two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning as CSU won 5-3.  The home run was the first in his collegiate career.  For the week, he head a 1.000 slugging percentage to go with his .500 batting average and .667 on-base percentage.
