It was the perfect day for a “Book Tasting!” Today, Mrs. Trotter arranged for our second graders to have a “Book Tasting.” What is that, you might ask? It’s a beautifully set table designed to quickly sample books!

The students were invited to sit and read the description of the book at their place and if they were interested in reading it in its entirety, they were to write the name and author on an index card.

When the bell rang, they were to move to another spot and pick up another book! To make it a little extra festive, cookies and chocolates were available at each table!

It was a wonderful way to give our students a sampling of a variety of delicious reads! And of course, all of the books are all available for checkout in the library!
