Paul Hampton – Brookstone’s First Director of Fine Arts
We are proud to announce Brookstone’s first-ever Director of Fine Arts: Mr. Paul Hampton. Mr. Hampton, a theatre legend in the Columbus community, will be developing, teaching, and leading a robust schedule of programs for our students and their families.
Brookstone’s commitment to the arts as an integral part of every student’s education is evident from grade 3K to 12. Whether it’s studio art classes, classroom productions, film classes, chorus, band, technical theatre classes, or advanced productions, every Brookstone student participates in and experiences the arts. We believe students must develop a clear understanding of how the arts impact their personal, social, economic, and cultural experiences.
Mr. Hampton brings more than 32 years of experience as a teacher and theater director, both in public education and in the Columbus community. Prior to joining Brookstone, he was the Liberal Arts College Preparatory Magnet Director for Columbus High School. He was inducted into the Georgia Thespians Hall of Fame in 2010 and the Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame in 2017, and he currently serves as the Chapter Director of Georgia Thespians.
Mr. Hampton is currently an Upper School math teacher, so he’s already a part of the Brookstone family, but we are so excited to have him move into this new role!
Join us in congratulation Mr. Hampton on this exciting new adventure!
