Seniors in the Classrooms
On the 13th annual Upper School Day of Service, as our students were spread across the community in partnership with local organizations, our seniors had a special service opportunity as they worked in our own Lower and Intermediate school classrooms with students. And as one who was able to observe the interactions in the various classrooms, let me just tell you that I’ve never seen anything so precious in all my life. It was AWESOME! The teachers loved it, the seniors loved it, and the little ones loved it.
One of the things we have always loved about Brookstone is having students of all ages on one campus. On a daily basis, students see one another as they walk across campus and pass each other in the hallways and cafeteria. It’s a beautiful thing.

But this day – this day was extra great. It exemplified everything we love about being one whole school – one community, one family, one Brookstone – partnering together, serving one another, and being blessed by the experience all the way around. It was enough to make this mama cry.

The slide show is long but so worth it. Just the most priceless pictures. Thanks to all the teachers and students who worked to make it happen. We can’t wait to do this again next year!
