Brookstone School is proud to announce its STAR Student/Teacher Award winners:

Joe Hilsman and Mr. Matt Lage. The STAR Student Award goes to the Brookstone student with the highest SAT score on one given test; this student then competes on the local level to include twelve schools.

Joe Hilsman is a member of the National English, Latin, Science, and Math Societies. He has been a member of the Honor Council for three years, Latin Club President, and Founder of the Pre-Med Club. Joe is a servant leader, shown by his volunteer commitment at MercyMed and Athens Y Camp and his receipt of the President’s Volunteer Service Award (over 100+ hours) as a junior. He is a three sport scholar-athlete running Varsity Cross Country and playing Varsity Tennis and Soccer all four years of high school. He was selected as Brookstone’s PAGE ONE nominee for General Scholarship. Joe is undecided at this time about his college choice.
