My word for 2020 was “new.” There was going to be a lot of “new” for me in 2020 – a wedding for my oldest son, and along with that a new daughter-in-law, a new phase of life for them and for our family. So at the time, I thought that word was appropriate. I would focus on […]

We are so excited to debut this beautiful new line of short and long-sleeved t-shirts, coffee mugs, gallery-wrapped canvas prints, and notecards depicting campus landmarks designed by our very Brookstone alumnae artist, Evelyn Henson, Class of 2009. Evelyn Henson began selling her artwork post-college, and she’s never looked back: what started with a few prints on Etsy and has since developed into a colorful, happy brand that has been featured in Glamour, Domino, Redbook, People, and more. Evelyn’s clients include La Croix, NBC Sports, Staples … and her alma mater, Brookstone! […]

Starting a new school can be an anxious time on the part of both parents and kids! And truthfully, on the part of a school, too, as we so desperately want to make sure all of our students are having a great experience. So when we hear feedback from new families that is so very encouraging, we just have to share! We LOVE our school and we love that others are loving it just as much! “I can’t tell you enough how much we are all enjoying the Brookstone experience. […]
Over Homecoming this year, we had the privilege of inducting our 7th Class of Distinguished Alumni. These well-deserving honorees are nominated by their peers and voted on by a committee made up of fellow Brookstone Alumni. Each and every year, we stand in amazement at what they have accomplished. This year’s recipients were Catherine Biggers Trotter, Class of 1973, Deana Bass Williams, Class of 1991, and Timothy Collins Wilson, Class of 1979 (awarded posthumously). Their bios and accomplishments are below, but truly, words alone do not do justice to the […]
