Seniors’ Last Day

Today was the last day of school for our seniors!! And that brings about both tears of joy and wistful reflections. Time just truly goes so fast… Here are some snapshots celebrating their college choices as they anticipate the next chapter of their lives! 2019 Brookstone College Tour

Over spring break, 27 energetic Upper School students joined our two college counselors, Frances Berry and Jon Terrell, for our 18th Annual College Tour. That’s right! 18 years of college tours. That is impressive. Each year, our college counseling office takes a group of students to visit more than a dozen colleges on one of three routes. Graduation Festivities Begin!

Wednesday, we kicked off graduation week in full swing! It began with our yearbook assembly! Presented to the students by yearbook editor, Sarah Beth Amos, this year’s theme was “Blueprints.” In her remarks, Sarah Beth said, “This year’s theme is “Blueprints”. If you have ever watched the progress of a major construction project, you may know that it starts with a blueprint. Seniors’ Last Day!

Yesterday was a bittersweet day as it was the last day of school for our seniors- barring AP exams. And to celebrate the occasion, they donned t-shirts sporting their college or university choice for the next year! Not everyone is pictured, but it was fun to snap a few! Spring Break 2018!

Even though students might be out for Spring Break, that certainly doesn’t mean the learning ever stops! We had four groups of students traveling on official school trips that spanned the globe. One group of Upper School students set off on a College Tour. Over the course of the week, the 15 students and two college counselors traveled over 1,800 miles and visited 12 different colleges!
