Throughout this school year we have enjoyed celebrating Brookstone’s 70 anniversary – 70 years that encompass a remarkable history and vision built on a solid foundation of values. 3K Doctor Day and A Vocab Parade!
There was lots of activity here on campus today! We had 3K Doctor Day and a Vocab Parade! First up, 3K Doctor Day – where all of your ailments could be tended to. Need a Band-aid? A quick MRI? 6th Annual Brookstone Under the Lights
Last week, we held the sixth annual Brookstone Under the Lights! It might be one of the most favorite events we have here at Brookstone. It’s an event especially for moms and their boys, but the best part of the night is the interaction between the youngest cougars and members of our Varsity Football team. We just completed our Lower School Week of Service for the fall and it was so incredibly impactful on all those involved. We were so grateful for the many, many donations sent in by our parentsthat were sent in that allowed us to give back to local organizations in an incredible way. Forest Fridays
We are so excited to announce the start of Forest Fridays here at Brookstone this fall! What is Forest Friday? Forest Friday is a weekly class for kindergarten through third grade. The class is about connecting with nature, outdoor learning, and instilling adventure and exploration in our students. Research shows that students get minimal outdoor time and are spending more time indoors in front of screens and various other technologies. Yet other research shows that more time outdoors has a positive impact on our students’ behavior, mental health, and academics. On […]
