Over Homecoming this year, we had the privilege of inducting our 7th Class of Distinguished Alumni. These well-deserving honorees are nominated by their peers and voted on by a committee made up of fellow Brookstone Alumni. Each and every year, we stand in amazement at what they have accomplished. One-Act WINS STATE!

You read about it here – our One-Act Play team winning the region a few weeks ago! Well, they have done it again, this time winning STATE in the GHSA 1A Private Division! To add accolades to accolades, Junior Ayo Oleyede walked away with the Best Actor Award! Senior Jillian Molar and junior Mia Vongsavang were both named to the All-Star Cast! We couldn’t be prouder of this team or their accomplishments! Congratulations!!

There’s a lot of pressure in schools these days – grades, test scores, academic performance, college acceptances, etc., etc. All of these things are important, of course, but all these things can lead to stress and anxiety in our kids, too. So we need to find a balance. That’s why Friday Fundays in the Upper School are meant to bring some lighthearted levity to life! Let the kids laugh! Let the kids sing! Let them be kids!
