An Email from a Happy Parent…

There is nothing better than having a parent share how much their children love Brookstone! It just makes a heart happy to hear! So with her permission, I am sharing the email below from one of our current parents. Enjoy! As my daughter was skipping around the island tonight saying “I love Brookstone” while she prepared for school on Monday, I realized I have not written to you yet. The Importance of Play

Don Murphy, a marriage and family therapist and devoted grandfather, was so kind to jot down some reflections after this year’s ceremony and even kinder to allow me to share. Enjoy his thoughtful and sweet summary of the weekend’s events! GRADUATION OBSERVED Among the iconic images of American graduations is that of mortarboards being gleefully tossed […]

Graduation

Every year, it is a beautiful week full of tradition, ceremony, and celebration. On Thursday evening before graduation, the Senior Faculty award dinner was held at the Rivermill Event Center. As always, the event was lovely in every way and a fitting way to honor our graduates and commend them for their hard work and accomplishments. Then on Saturday morning, Baccalaureate was held in our Illges […]

Yearbook Assembly and Alumni March

Yesterday morning was one of those mornings that just made you smile. It was one of those times where you remember all the reasons you love this school and how great it is to be a part of it. We started the morning with our annual Yearbook Assembly, where the students unveiled this year’s book, featuring the most beautiful artwork by local artist, Helen Johnson. It is fitting to have a yearbook this gorgeous to celebrate the 50th Edition! To make the morning even more special, the Senior Class chose […]
