Congratulations to Sydney Weaver, Class of 2013, on her recent selection as an WGCA All-American golfer! What an accomplishment! She is Brookstone’s very first female athlete to be named an All-American.

Berry College recently made the announcement in a press release:

Weaver, a senior from Columbus, Ga., joins a short list of Vikings to earn All-America honors as the first since 2009 and just the fifth ever female golfer to earn the prestigious recognition. She has had a historic season for the Vikings, earning Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Golfer of the Year honors in addition to becoming the first female golfer in Berry history to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships.
