We know that there are great things happening at Brookstone School on any given day, but it’s always nice to hear feedback from parents!

Below is an excerpt from an email sent to Leigh Anne Floyd, our Lower and Intermediate School Principal, from one of our new families, shared with their permission.

Kudos to our teachers and administrators for creating an environment as special as the one here at Brookstone. As a parent, there is nothing more gratifying than to see your child blossom and grow.

My son had a great year last year! It was one of the hardest decisions my husband and I had to make in deciding whether to transfer him or not, and it turned out to be best the decision we ever made! We blanketed our decision with prayer and we give God the glory for the blessing He has given our children to be able to attend Brookstone. We have watched him just blossom after he started going to school there. His confidence has grown, he takes pride and ownership of his work, he doesn’t complain about doing his homework, never complained or cried about going to school, and likes to go to tutoring this summer. We never thought in a million years our child would stand up on stage in front of a group of people and participate in a play/musical. It was an absolute blessing that he transferred to Brookstone last year. Thank you for all your help in making the transition smooth for him and making sure he had the tools he needed to get on track with his classmates. All the teachers and students were so welcoming to him and were all so positive, that it just give him the opportunity to succeed…and we can’t thank you enough for that.
