Junior Math Tournament!
Georgia Southwestern State University held their Junior Math Tournament recently. Twenty four students from Brookstone grades 3rd-6th attended and they represented us well!
On our 6th grade team, Ankita Nukala placed first, Ava Chang fourth, and Nancy Schley fifth (out of 140).
The 5th-grade team held their own in a field of 320, with Weezie Turner finishing in the top 15.
Max Lopez took first place for fourth grade.
3rd-grade competition was intense, with the field narrowing from 200 to eight before the last Cougar was eliminated.
Congratulations to all of our math Cougars and their coaches, Mrs. Nancy Collier and Mrs. Kay Kennedy!
