One of my goals is to make sure that every student that crosses my path knows their worth, knows that they belong, and has established the beginnings of something they are passionate […]

Why Brookstone? Why should I choose to send my child to Brookstone? These are questions often asked of us in the admissions department and they are valid questions. Why? What sets up apart? What makes Brookstone so unique? So we got to work to find our answer. Our faculty, administration, and Board of Trustees began working and surveying and researching to determine just what is it that sets Brookstone apart. And over and over again, these are the things that rose to the top. Here at Brookstone, PEOPLE MATTER. We […]
BIG night for our fantastic Brookstone seniors at tonight’s Ledger-EnquirerPage One Awards! While we couldn’t be there to cheer on our students in person, Mr. Paul Hampton hosted a Zoom watch party that was filled with faculty, staff, and all of our outstanding nominees. Every single Brookstone nominee is an absolute rock star, and we couldn’t be prouder. These kids are amazing – each and every one of them and we know BIG things are in store for ALL of them! However, six of our seniors walked away with honors and […]
We had another great week of Distance Learning here at Brookstone! See some of the highlights below! Upper School We so enjoyed celebrating our seniors this week by surprising them with yard signs! Delivered by Dee Dee Branham, senior grade chair, Garry Sullivan, Upper School principal, and a few other helpers, we just want them to know how much they are loved! And in academic news, check out this lung model illustrating negative pressure created by senior Sanders Hinds for Mrs. Cynthia Lingo’s Anatomy and Physiology class! So impressive! Middle […]
As part of our effort to respond appropriately to the COVID-19 situation, we are limiting travel and visitors to campus. As such, we have decided to put together a virtual tour of sorts for people who would like to visit campus. It was quickly put together, so forgive us for the brevity of some of the clips, but it gives you just a little taste of campus life! To start with, you can familiarize yourself with our campus map. Kirven Center If you were to come here to campus for […]
Do you live in the Auburn area or do you know people who do? Then come join us or help us spread the word! We are hosting an informational meeting in Auburn next week to share all the wonderful things going on at Brookstone School. If you have friends or family in the Auburn area that you would like to invite, we would love to have them join us. For more information, see details below or email Avery Wolff.
The Agri-Colga student group from Brookstone spent time recently filling the planting beds at our partner school, Fox Elementary! These upper school students are mentoring Fox students this spring teaching them how to grow their own healthy vegetables at their school. Students in the program, initiated and led by senior Emma Yancey, will go to Fox once a week after school to work with a designated group of students. We can’t see what “grows” out of this beautiful partnership!
Please join us for the Upper School Insight on November 29th at 6:00 pm.
