College Tour 2017

Every year, our College Office takes students on a College Tour to see college and university campuses all across the country. This year, over spring break, about 30 kids loaded up on a bus and began the trek north to the Virginia/Washington, DC area to visit some of the most beautiful campuses and prestigious schools in the country. Parent University with Tim Elmore

It is a privilege to be part of a school community that so values partnering with parents to raise their children. Recently, we were thrilled to have Tim Elmore, nationally acclaimed author, speaker, and parenting expert back on campus talking to both students and parents. We have long used his “Habitutdes” leadership curriculum in our classrooms, so to be able to meet with him one on one is an exciting opportunity! Visiting Jazz Artist – Chris Crenshaw

It was such a treat to have visiting jazz artist, Chris Crenshaw, here on campus last week. Chris plays jazz with the Lincoln Center Orchestra based out of New York City.  He is the former student of our band director, Issac Leverett. With funding made possible by the Brookstone Parents Association, Issac was able to invite Chris to Brookstone to share and showcase his amazing talent! Sometimes, you get to leave campus for a field trip, but sometimes, that field trip comes to you!
