Every spring, our seniors and our faculty members go head to head in a variety of competitions that range from basketball to corn hole to flying paper airplanes! It sounds so simple, but these friendly face-offs are just another example of the strong sense of community and camaraderie that we have here at Brookstone! You just don’t get at other schools! Today was the annual Hamburger Cook-Off! And these kids take their burgers seriously! Though Coach Jimmy Thompson is quite the grill master, the seniors pulled out all the stops! […]
It is our pleasure to announce that Garry Sullivan has accepted the position as Brookstone’s Head of Upper School beginning July 1, 2018. We are thrilled to welcome him to our school! Garry has worked in the field of education for the past 14 years, most recently as the Head of Middle and Upper Schools at The First Academy in Orlando, Florida. Prior to that he was the K-12 Associate Director at The Pine School in Hobe Sound, Florida, technology and social studies instructor and IT curriculum coordinator at Mt. Vernon […]

Kate, inspired by her own mother’s battle with breast cancer, was able to attend this year’s program as well. Click here to watch the WRBL news report from the event. This […]
Any time our Upper School students get to work alongside our Lower and Intermediate school students, it’s a special thing. And Cub Track might just be one of my all time favorite examples! For several weeks each spring, our Varsity Track team works with our younger students, teaching them the ins and outs of track and field events. This culminates in a grand track meet pitting the “Blue” and “White” teams against each other! Enjoy these pictures from the event!! The future looks bright for Brookstone Track! (And not that […]
It’s true! The Brookstone Varsity Girls Tennis team just won the area championship for the 45th year in a row! That’s correct! Every year since 1973, our girls have clinched the title – for 45 straight years! We don’t like the throw around the word “Dynasty” loosely, but I think we could make a pretty strong claim in this instance! Congratulations, girls! On to the next round!
