The Cougars had a great day at the State Cross Country meet at Carrollton this past Saturday. The meet this year was bigger than ever, with the top 30 Single-A private schools in Georgia competing. The boys team ran some of their strongest times all year and finished 14th overall, and Brookstone’s girls capped off their incredible season with a hard-fought 10th place […]
One of the greatest things about Brookstone is the multiple layers of support our students have. From teachers, to advisors, to grade chairs, to coaches, to counselors – our students are surrounded by amazing faculty and staff pouring into their lives and cheering them on. They are invested in the well-being of our students – not just as students, but as people. And as a parent, I am so very grateful. We have robust counseling department here at Brookstone – Kenneth Hoats and Deedee Gordon in the Lower and Intermediate […]

We are growing the next generation of leaders right here on Brookstone’s campus. Enjoy these excerpts from their Friday emails! From Leigh Anne Floyd: Our children are like arrows in our quiver, and it is our job to sharpen them while they are with us so that when they become a […]

And a huge thank you goes to our Upper School thespians for putting on a “spooktacular” event for our Lower and Intermediate School students to enjoy! Happy Halloween!
Want to see how math is made fun? Just take a peek into Mrs. Leatherwood’s 6th grade math class as they take part in some serious “operations!” From Mrs. Leatherwood: I just love to see how excited the kids are collaborating with their partners to solve some really challenging math problems, and when they get through them (the Operation) their celebration. Servant Leadership is embedded in our culture in every way. Of course, thanks to COVID-19, our weeks of service might look a little different this year, but the heart behind them remains the same. We want to teach our kids empathy, compassion, and how serving others is a way of life. The students prepared bags for a variety of local agencies here in town – PAWS, Easter Seals, Brookside Glen, Ronald McDonald House, and Open Door. They also made goody bags for the Soldier Recovery Unit at Ft. Benning. COVID-19 […]
